4 Ways to Use CBD From Hemp Oil for Self-Care

This post on using CBD from hemp oil for self-care is written in partnership with American Eagle but all insight, content and opinions are my own.

Since CBD from hemp oil has become legal, it’s become super popular. Because it has such a calming effect, it’s the perfect ingredient to add to your self-care routine. From cleansing to moisturizing, here are four easy ways to use CBD oil for self-care.

Spoiler Alert: You won’t feel “high” or “stoned” from MOOD’s CBD-infused products because they’re all derived from CBD oil, not THC (see more below in the FAQs section). However, you will feel relaxed and calm!

Take a Bath with CBD from Hemp Oil

Taking a bath is the ultimate at-home self-care treat. It warms up your body and gives you a simple social media break that you may (or may not) have realized you’ve been craving.

You can even make your bath more soothing with the MOOD’s CBD-Infused Bath Soak, which gives you the double amount of relaxation with its lavender smell and CBD oil. Lavender is known to act as a natural anxiety reliever and sedative while CBD oil totally relaxes you.

If you want more of an active treatment, you can soothe yourself and exfoliate your skin with the MOOD Soothed CBD-Infused Sugar Scrub.

Anyone up for a nap just hearing about this cozy bath time treat?

Re-energize Yourself on the Go

We might not always have the time to take a bath or even spend an extra couple of minutes to put on body lotion to moisturize our skin, but we can at least always make time to treat our lips on the go.

Pop a MOOD CBD-Infused Lip Salve or Lip Balm in your purse, and use it when your lips need a bit of moisturizing or you want a bit of a calming effect.

Yup, self-care is really that easy.

Moisturize Your Skin with CBD from Hemp Oil

Keeping your skin moisturized is a must to help it stay young, reduce skin problems and prevent skin blemishes. But even simpler than that, it’s just a really nice way to end a hot shower after the heat has stripped moisture from our skin.

After showering, gently rub this CBD-infused oil on your face or rub these soothing lotions and creams on your hands and/or body.

Skincare with CBD oil that leaves you both moisturized and refreshed? Yes please!

Calm Down with Aromatherapy

Did you know that by smelling aromas that we can activate feel-good chemicals that contribute to our happiness and well-being? Yup, relaxing can be as simple as smelling something sweet and fragrant like lavender or eucalyptus.

Like a lip balm, you can throw the aromatherapy oil in your purse or wherever you think it’d be the most helpful for a quick, relaxing effect such as when you’re studying or working at your desk! Then uncap it and dab a bit on your wrist.

I personally leave it in my living room and roll a bit on while I’m watching a movie on Netflix. Why not make watching entertainment an even more relaxing experience?

FAQs about MOOD’s CBD-infused Products

Before you go out and fill your life with MOOD’s CBD-Infused products, you may want to know that:

  • The CBD oil in MOOD’s product is derived from hemp. In 2018, the U.S. Farm Bill declared that cannabis containing no more than 0.3% THC is legal. Since MOOD products have less than this amount of THC, they’re all legal.
  • You won’t get “stoned” or “high” from using MOOD products because the oils are from the CBD component of the cannabis sativa plant. That feeling of being “high” is associated with the THC component of the cannabis sativa plant, which is a completely different substance!

Thanks for making it all the way to the end of this post about using CBD-infused products as part of your self-care routine! If you’re wondering where to get these relaxing products, they’re exclusively available at American Eagle.
