Best Hotels for a Bachelorette Party in Philadelphia

After my wonderful bachelorette party in Savannah, Georgia, every time I go on a girls’ trip, I can’t help but think of the many must-have amenities that us ladies would need for a super fun party getaway. Of course, this remained true for my two back-to-back girls’ trips this past January in Philadelphia. I stayed at two different hotels, which are both perfect for a bachelorette party in Philadelphia!

Keep on reading to find out why they’d be great for your bachelorette party whether you’re a boho/hipster type of bride or more of a contemporary/modern one!

For a Boho/Hipster Bachelorette Party in Philadelphia’s Old City

If you love bohemian or hipster spaces, then you’ll definitely want your Philly bachelorette party to be at Stay Lokal, a boutique hotel in Old City. Every single design aspect of the apartment-style hotel is thoughtfully planned, which makes for a great place to chill out and relax in peacefully between the restaurants and fun nights out.

Why Stay Lokal is Perfect for a Girls’ Trip or Philly Bachelorette Party

As I mentioned, the design of the apartment-style hotel is stunning, which will make for tons of great photo opps anywhere you sit, but more importantly, the thoughtful touches of this hotel is what will make you feel like you’re all hanging out at your girl friend’s place together just like you did when you were kids.

Although you’ll probably be eating out in celebration of your special day, there’s a kitchen at the hotel, which means you can cook a family-style meal together, which is what my girl friends and I did once during my bachelorette party. It was a great time to bond over cooking and eating.

The kitchen has the most divine teas and coffee, which was really nice to have while we chatted and caught up on majorly needed girl time when we weren’t out on the town exploring, dining and wining. I loved the tea kettle so much that I bought one myself!

I loved the “invisible service” that the hotel provides, which made it feel like I was hanging out at home with my friend instead of at a hotel being supervised. In addition to this amenity, there were a ton of great millennial touches like a Sonos soundbar, Apple TV, HBO, and more. Oh yah, there’s also a washer and dryer and yoga mats in case you spill wine on your dress or need to burn off those calories from your bachelorette party dinners!

Lastly, there are multiple types of rooms that you can get. I’d recommend getting the Family one or two-bedroom one as your main room, which fits four people. Then if you have extra people, they can stay in the other rooms.

Location of Stay Lokal

There are two Stay Lokals in Philadelphia: in Old City and in Fishtown. I stayed at the one in Old City and loved the location. There are great restaurants and bars nearby along with the Betsy Ross House, most adorable, Instagrammable Elfreth’s Alley, and the Race Street Pier.

It was also close enough to the Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens and Liberty Bell to walk there, which makes the many attractions nearby quite accessible to walk to!

For a Contemporary/Modern Bachelorette Party in Philadelphia’s Downtown Rittenhouse Square

For a more contemporary and modern style bachelorette party in Philadelphia with traditional hotel amenities, I’d definitely grab a suite at Sonesta Hotel in Downtown Philadelphia.

Why the Sonesta Hotel is Perfect for a Girls’ Trip or Philly Bachelorette Party

There are a ton of reasons to love the Sonesta Hotel, but what my girl friend and I loved the most was getting the suite and having a separate living room and bedroom area to hang out and sleep in. This made it feel more homey and gave the space we needed to quickly get ready and sleep comfortably without feeling crowded.

The suite had two bathrooms, which made getting ready so much faster. We didn’t have to time out who would take a shower when to get ready for our dinner reservations. This is sooo key when you have a group of girls’ trying to get ready together!

The customer service and convenience of the hotel was unparalleled. While we got ready, we ordered room service and had everything sent up right to our room. Having late nights, instead of stressing ourselves out to be presentable in the morning and going out for breakfast, we ordered room service for breakfast and had a casual morning, which gave us the much needed energy for a long, fun day out!

It’s great for a big bachelorette party because the suite can fit four people to sleep in and many more to hang out in. For five people and up, you can easily get multiple rooms and not worry if you’ll all be in one hotel or not because the hotel has many rooms to book!

Location of Sonesta Hotel in Downtown Philadelphia

The Sonesta Hotel is right in downtown Philadelphia making it super accessible to walk to sites such as the Observation Tower or the Reading Terminal, which is a must-visit if you love to eat delicious food! It’s also surrounded by a ton of bars and great restaurants making it really easy to your party destination by walking.

How to Book Sonesta Hotel for Your Bachelorette Party in Philadelphia
