Four Reasons to Stay at Hotel Indigo Leicester Square

Since London is basically a skip, hop, and jump from Amsterdam, my friend Shannon and I decided to have a little girls’ trip for four days in London. We had a great time thanks to Hotel Indigo at Leicester Square. Between the hotel, non-stop eating out, and visiting the Warner Brothers’ Harry Potter exhibit, it was a trip to remember!

Read on and find out the four reasons we loved staying at Hotel Indigo Leicester Square

Cleanliness and Comfort

The most important thing to me when it comes to a hotel is how clean and comfortable it is. Hotel Indigo Leicester Square pass the clean and comfort test with flying colors!

The bed was so plush despite being firm enough to make sure my back was supported all night. Both Shannon and I slept so well both nights.

Also, there was a couch in our room, which made it nice to have an extra space to hang out that wasn’t the bed.

Service with a View

Everyone at Hotel Indigo was so nice, which started off with a warm welcome into the hotel. Our room wasn’t ready so the front desk offered us a complimentary drink to have at their bar upstairs. Shannon and I got tea, but there was also the option of getting an alcoholic beverage.

Throughout our stay, the staff was quite helpful from enjoying dinner at their restaurant to leaving my bags on the last day after check-out. They even have umbrellas for you to borrow if it happens to rain, which in London, it probably will once during your stay!

Speaking of the bar and restaurant, not only is it a great place to rest after a long day out sight-seeing, but it also has an incredible view of the city. It was especially lovely seeing the sunset colors while eating dinner.

If you love taking Instagram pics, their rooftop bar and the view of the Eye makes for a great London Instagram Spots!

Convenient Location

Leicester Square is so close to many tourist sites and is centrally located in London, but even better, it’s right near Chinatown and so many delicious Asian restaurants. Check out some delicious places to eat in Soho right near the hotel.

But to be more practical, this hotel was less than a five minute walk from three different Tube (subway) lines, which made it easy to get to Notting Hill (color neighborhood west of London) and Shoreditch (hipster neighborhood east of London).

Art Deco Design

I’m a sucker for art deco decor, and Hotel Indigo Leicester Square was full of it. Every bit of the room and hotel was thoughtfully designed for both function and comfort.
