Hotel Friends was one of the main highlights from my trip to Düsseldorf. Despite having written a whole city guide for Düsseldorf, it was good enough to warrant its very own post. Hence, the top three reasons to stay at Hotel Friends in Düsseldorf!

It’s an Adult Playground

The lobby is like an adult playground with a ping-pong table, foosball table, board games, 24/7 bar with local beer, trampoline, and plenty of places to hang out and relax.
At night, they have fun events like having an in-house DJ, which attracts a huge crowd of locals. If you want to experience the local nightlife, then there’s really no need for you to leave your hotel! Easy, right?
Their Rooms Are Well-Designed & Comfortable

Of course, the fun doesn’t stop in the lobby. Each room is decorated out to the max and makes you feel like you’ve left Düsseldorf and entered another world.
I stayed in the theater room and felt like everything I did in the hotel room that weekend from putting on my sneakers to brushing my teeth was just about the most dramatic thing ever (in the best way possible). It even included a huge couch, which I deemed the napping area.
They have other rooms such as the Hamptons and (drum roll please) a HARRY POTTER room complete with a wand, Hedwig, and Harry Potter books.
They Have a Full and Tasty Breakfast

Lastly, the breakfast is fantastic. It’s not included in the price of your room, but at only an additional €12, it’s quite tasty, filling, and has everything your breakfast heart could ever desire.
On weekends, breakfast goes ‘till 11:30 AM, which is absolutely unheard of! For a late sleeper like me, it was wonderful to snooze, eat a huge breakfast to also cover lunch, then have half an hour to pack up my room before check-out at 12:00 PM. It’s quite thoughtful timing!
Did I mention it’s only a 6-7 minute walk from the train station? It can’t get better than that. Check to see if the hotel is available while you’re in Düsseldorf.

This hotel looks like a dream! I don't think I have ever seen one before with an adult playground with a trampoline. I also love staying in hotels that have a good nighttime atmosphere in case I feel incredibly lazy and can't be bothered to go out. The late breakfast is a great idea! I would definitely sleep in, eat a huge meal and be ready to go before check out.
